Mostly benign. The unimpressive food was not really Mexican it was Mexican re imagined. No chips on table when you walk in; the chips you pay for are cold, not warm and fresh. The first open faced burrito I have ever seen. Chicken in enchiladas was dry, but the enchiladas verde sauce was tasty. The meat in the street taco was surprisingly flavorless. Great atmosphere. Delicious food and super service. I recommend the guacamole and stuffed poblanos. We also ordered the pitcher of sangria and it was very tasty. Would definitely come back.

Food was delicious! I had a vegetarian friend with me and we truly appreciated the menu as they had a wide range of options (this is rare for restaurants); tamales are delicious and our waitress was awesome! Brisket quesadilla was amazing!

Great food and vibe, but the restaurant would better if it took dinner reservations. We could sit around at the bar for an hour and a half before kids, but that doesn?t work now with timing a babysitter. So, we haven?t been able to visit in years! Update responding to owner: High demand is exactly the reason a restaurant would permit reservations. I.e., I don?t need a reservation when the place is empty.
