Skrimp Shack - Norfolk

This place has fell off!!! $10.75 for a Shrimp Po Boy and this is what I got! No sauce, no flavor, hard bread. I also waited over 30 minutes for my food. This place is nothing like the original location in Newport News. This will be my last time coming here.

First of all, the staff was awesome! Very helpful and informative. Even brought the food to the table.First, I want to say that I've seen this place for probably two or three years and had never gone. Finally decided to do it. So maybe my rating is slightly due to some disappointment .The drink selection is just standard. Maybe I thought of this place as a mom and pop restaurant but I think that it is actually a chain. I feel like the fried okra and the fried fish and everything just came out of a bag. And of course you can make any tortilla. Seem pretty big with shredded cabbage. Don't get me wrong. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good enough to make me want to go back.Reasonably priced.

Skrimp Shack was fire. This was my first time and I had the Catfish/Skrimp Poboy. It was super fire. I'll be back before I leaveParking: Uses Home Depot parking lot

First time coming there. Liked everything I ordered..my daughter loved the fish. Will definitely have to try something else on.the menu when I'm in the area. Wish it was closer to me. Put one in Virginia Beach.Food: 4/5

I’m giving another thumbs up during my third visit to this restaurant on my trip from Maryland. I really hope they consider opening a location in my area! The food is absolutely delicious—perfectly prepared and cooked. The service is fantastic as well. I can’t emphasize enough how great it is; if you’re not a local, definitely give them a try. The cooking here is genuine, unlike those big chain restaurants; you can really taste the talent of the chefs. Food: 5/5.
