Starr Hill Market - Norfolk

We went there on July fourth and the bartenders were rude and seemed to be bothered that there were people at the bar. We tried to order and two separate bartenders walked away. I was by myself, but there were two separate parties next to me also ignored for 15 minutes. I walked away without ordering a drink and went across the street to Grain. We ordered several drinks and food. We had a great time there.

I just came to Norfolk for the weekend and while walking by beautiful Waterside District wanted to stop with my friends for a drink. There is a large mall like area with multiple restaurants but since we just wanted a quick drink we searched for the bar with the highest reviews. Didn't realize that we past this place because it's in the center of the large lobby! It was exactly what I was looking for and I thank Alex for making me a delicious drink just based off what I like. A true bartender!

Great spot to people watch and chill at happy hour. Was quiet when we went. Giant TVs so you can catch the game or just talk. you are in the middle of the Waterside complex here.. so it wouldn't be a quiet little spot.. but great for viewing and grabbing food and beer! very friendly staff.

Ok with decent entertainment and selection of beverages.

Service was terrible, was completely ignored for about 25 minutes. This was a Friday evening at 4 pm and around 5 people sitting bar.
