I was in town on business and decided to kill some time while I wait for my train back to Chicago and popped in. They actually have a real wide selection of local beers and pretty cool people who walk in. Mostly locals and the food is impressive for a pub. I had the Salmon Sandwich and it was . Not to mention my bill after drinks and food was surprisingly affordable compared to Chicago. If you are in the area this is a definite go to for drinks and great conversation with the coolest people in town. Didn't realize Normal had so much to offer. I will definitely be back! It's OK, I had the fish and chips and it was decent. I think the place needs an update, I found the smell annoying and the music too loud for a place that was almost empty. Maybe when college come back from summer break will be better. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I absolutely love Maggie Miley's! Although I didn't have any drinks this time, I can attest from previous visits that they pour a great Guinness. The food was delicious; the sweet potato crisps were particularly tasty. I chose the bangers and mash, as usual, while my wife opted for the stuffed chicken breast. Both dishes were packed with flavor! We also received prompt service, so a big thank you to JC, our server! Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.
Would I come back? Probably not for dinner, mainly because I don’t live nearby. If I happen to be in town again, I would opt for a different place. However, if you’re looking to enjoy drinks, this could be a fun spot when it’s busy. The atmosphere and decor were lively, resembling a typical Irish pub.
