El Huevo Mexi-diner - Norman

I knew we were in for a treat as soon as we walked in and heard "Seven Nation Army" by Jack White playing. The decor is unique, modern, and spotless. The food exceeded our expectations; my husband ordered the chilaquiles and claimed they were among the best he's had in the U.S., even compared to those he enjoyed in Mexico. The tower nachos were fantastic—the chips were perfectly seasoned and all the flavors came together beautifully. Although we live 45 minutes away and were just passing through the area, this place is definitely worth the drive. We can’t wait to return and explore the rest of the menu filled with delicious Mexican cuisine!

This is one of the best spots in the Moore/Norman area for brunch and drinks! I highly recommend checking out their website to add your name to the waitlist ahead of time. The waitstaff is outstanding, and the food is delicious and served quickly. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant!

Just a heads-up: the iced tea had a fruity flavor that wasn’t quite to our liking, so we wouldn’t order that again. I’m a big fan of breakfast nachos, which means I loved the chilaquiles without the eggs. The chorizo added a delightful kick. I would have enjoyed a bit more crema, but that’s just my personal taste. The black beans were a perfect side to help cool down the spice. The Paloma was just right—refreshingly grapefruity with a good hint of tequila! My only minor complaint is that we sat in a booth near the bar area, and the side connecting to the other booth wasn’t fully enclosed. It might seem trivial, but I prefer a bit more privacy when dining.

I love cooking here; the food is incredibly flavorful. The staff is friendly and pleasant. The queso is delicious, and it was the spicy salsa that really won me over. Food rating: 5/5.

I had a fantastic experience at the restaurant. The staff were wonderful, and the food was served hot and delicious. I also had a dessert—a cheesecake—that was simply beyond description. This place definitely deserves a return visit!
