Golden Chef - Norman

Excellent service and great tasting eating in the city! my man and I fought for a great Chinese restaurant when we moved to norman in april 2019. then we tried golden chef and they are absolutely amazing! we are both very picky eaters and expect great food. eating is full of great taste that they cannot resist and is never burned, nor too crisp to bite it. we generally order pork rolls, beef loams, chicken frits rice, and crabs. thanks golden chef, you are the best in town!

It was once our favorite Chinese place in the opposite. I would give it back to everyone. now it has new owners and the new recipes are a PALE comparison to its former self.

Beware new owners. This was my go to for chinese for the past few years. Unfortunately Golden Chef has changed owners recently and the quality has gone down the drain. They will not tell you when you order that it is under new management. There are no signs advising that it's under new management. Very decepitve in my opinion. The crab rangoons were what really seperated Golden Chef from all the other chinese restaurants in Norman. They were rolled sticks not the folded wonton that every one else has. Great Food. I enjoy their food always hot and has a great flavor. Staff is always friendly and polite. It ;sgreat to call in your order and its ready for you to pick up in 10 mins ideal for lunch.
