I couldn't be happier with my experience here and would highly recommend it! Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The Break Room is an absolute gem in the North Adams! We hosted our wedding welcome drinks here a few weeks ago and everyone has been raving about it ever since. From the super cool atmosphere, to the absolutely delicious food, and stellar cocktails Brian and the team knocked it out of the park. We love the restaurant and the food so much we were there earlier in the day during lunch service! If you are looking to host an event, there is nobody better to work with than Brian. He is super responsive, accommodating, kind, and just an all around wonderful individual who worked with us to create a package that worked for both him and us. I couldn’t recommend this establishment more highly and definitely don’t miss out on grabbing a pastry or two! Went for the fish fry, they advertised Cod, it was actually Haddock, the french fries were frozen even though we were told the were fresh hand cut, the coleslaw was flavorless, they did not have the scallops as advertised and the pathetic dessert was frozen good humor bars or Italian ice from the supermarket.... overpriced, pathetic attempt at authentic fish fry Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
We sat outside and had the Labor Day barbeque menu or whatever it was called. I had the two hotdog meal, which came with a surprisingly good salad of young greens. The hot dogs were also well topped, but like they could have been snappier and more flavorful. My wife had a pulled pork sandwich, which was good, though not amazing. My son had the eggplant caponata topped zucchini good idea, but the thickness of the zucchini did not make for the most appetizing of dishes. The Mexican street corn appetizer was outstanding, really. A big winner. Our cocktails were very good and well made. And the service was outstanding. Professional and friendly. Brian and his team at the Break Room at Greylock Works catered our 130-person wedding at MASS MoCA in September 2022 and they are terrific! We love their focus on seasonal, thoughtfully sourced food, and they are more interesting than your typical wedding caterer. Having exceptional food at our wedding was one of our priorities and the Break Room did not disappoint. Brian came up with an excellent, creative menu that impressed our guests—everyone raved about the passed hors d’oeuvres in particular. Brian is a master of his craft and was great to work with—professional, responsive, accommodating, and experienced, and it was helpful that he’s so well-connected and familiar with the Berkshires region. We and our guests were very impressed with the Break Room’s friendly and capable serving staff as well, and their ability to maneuver in MASS MoCA’s unique space. We look forward to dining at the Break Room at Greylock Works whenever we’re in the area! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
