Giving it 2/5 as the restaurant was warm and clean and the staff were great. The food was cold and the coffee was awful. The coffee was £3.20 and was the worst I have ever had, get a better coffee out the flask in the library. It was a rare treat for us to go for our friend's birthday and never again, will stick to Wetherspoons.
We have recently become vegan and opted for the vegan sausage and vegan nuggets. We we pleasantly surprised, the nuggets were really nice. We were served by Sebastian who was lovely. He couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome and ensure we had everything we needed.
I purchased a small portion of chips from the Blue Lagoon, situated next to the gorilla statue and cost over £3.00. They were presented to me stuffed in a small polystyrene container. I eat approximately a quarter of them, as the rest were either rubbery or residue. I was bitterly disappointed to say the least.
Lovely fish and chips, very fresh and I thought the price was reasonable, friendly staff, would highly recommend.
