This restaurant is amazing! The food was excellent, the atmosphere was just right, and the staff were incredibly friendly. My friend and I enjoyed it so much that we decided to go back the next day for more. I highly recommend this place, especially the chocolate mousse!

1886 Lake House Bistro is located in the top three locations for the North Bay area. Get ready for a rustic aesthetic layered with nostalgia to make fine food in an eclectic mix that works to its own unique North style. The menu is artfully cured with local game and fan favorites. You have a well-stocked drink menu including the most extensive wine list round. The experienced servers increase your experience and the kitchen provides consistency every time. The price is suitable for menu and market. I recommend this restaurant for dinner and very special occasions. Thanks to their new heated glamping tent, which has six seats, they have fed outdoor dining rooms all year round. Recently I visited the beer and cheese tasting of Whiskey Jack Beer Company and enjoyed the occasion.

Warm, hearty, tasty food and a great atmosphere right near the lake. Delicious vegetarian options! My partner and I tried to start the garlic appetizer and cheese board. We ordered the vegetarian Wellington and the seafood pasta for our entrees and they were all delicious! I love restaurants that have unique, hearty options for vegetarians! The drinks were delicious and good priced with a wide selection of local craft beers. Waitress was efficient and friendly. Would definitely recommend eating here for everyone in North Bay.
