Lou Dawg's Southern Bbq North Bay

From the outside doesn’t look like much but once you’re in, the atmosphere was welcoming, clean and the waitresses were so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. Good portions and tasty. Great value as well!! Will recommend to friends!!

This place had great food and the atmosphere is perfect! The price is right and on the Friday night they had live music! Will definitely be back!

I think Lou Dawgs is a North Bay gem. Some of the best selection of Ontario Craft Beer on tap. Fantastic live music and entertainment. Love Wednesday nights with Birds of a Feather. The fried chicken sandwich, and chicken and waffles is a favourite. We normally eat the sandwichs or wraps as the BBQ platters we have tried can be a bit dry. Their cornbread is to die for. Love coming by or ordering!

I wanted a pulled pork sandwich, Wife has been after me to eat healthier, decided on the vegan Pulled Jack fruit, was it a healthier option can't tell you, sure was good,I.Vegetarian options: Pulled Jack fruits

On a recent camping trip I decided to try something new for a meal to go, and not a chain restaurant so I found Lou Dawgs in North Bay.First impression was good, it's a cool looking restaurant, lots of wood. Country theme bar is how it felt. The service was excellent, I don't know the ladies name behind the bar but she was extremely good at her job and made me feel welcome. Very kind and helpful.The food was good. I had the three meat platter. The brisket was PERFECTLY cooked. Tender and even the fat on it was edible and melted in my mouth. The pulled pork was tender and not fatty. The fried chicken was juicy and boneless, I wonder if it was thigh maybe...it was good too! The corn bread muffin was moist and fresh and the two dinner rolls were very fresh. pickled onions were tasty and the mac and cheese was creamy and a nice side for the meal......MY ONLY COMPLAINT: where is the BBQ sauce? A tangy, spicy BBQ sauce would go so great with this meal. Like it would perfect it. There wasn't any that I could see so small disappointment.Would I go back? Yes, but I would ask for BBQ sauce if it's available.
