River View Diner - North Bergen

Old school diner with super friendly staff. Can order anything any time of day and unlike a lot of places they allow substitutions.

Food is top notch, consistent, always tasty. Owners are lovely.

I had some sort of expectation for this place since the reviews it has. The food was bland, dry, and overall unpleasant to eat. Salmon was flavorless and dry, fries were mid and unfresh tasting, almost microwaved flavors. The egg omelette i got with mushrooms were absolutely flavorless and the homemade potatoes were atrocious. Overall, for the price, it was terrible, highly do not recommend you guys coming here
