Jinya Ramen - North Bethesda

Ordered chicken curry. There was one piece of chicken in the whole meal. You can see the ONE piece piece if you look closely at the pic I posted. The sauce was decent which is why I?m giving it 2 stars instead of 1. Also included a side salad with no dressing. Really being nice not giving it 1 star. Either way I won?t be going back

Decent ramen and slightly high prices, but very fast service and a great atmosphere. I had the Tonkotsu Black, which had surprisingly light-tasting broth with thin, almost wonton-like noodles. I think its suited for those who like lighter-tasting foods. The pork chashu was flavorful and tender. My egg was partially broken, so it didn't have the gooey center like most other ramen shops. My S/O got the Mild Tonkotsu Spicy, which had broth more savory/heavy in comparison, and also had more thicker, bouncier noodles that I enjoyed more. Not spicy at all though. Both the Tonkotsu Black and Spicy Broth have a prominent umami flavor with notes of shellfish (which they use in many of their broths). Overall, it's not the best I?ve tried, but definitely the fastest in service; our ramen came within 5 minutes of ordering. Prices are slightly higher than other comparable ramen shops, but nothing too crazy. Edit: I came here a second time for dinner and took some more pictures.

Love this place! Plenty of options and a great happy hour full of deals. The ramen is so good. And if you are into truffle oil and fried appetizers I recommend the Brussel sprouts appetizer (dont forget to add the free sauce options with it) the sauces are soooo good and range from mild (soy sauce) to a spicy. So good definitely recommend.

We had a great time trying their ramen and a small poke bowl. The fried broccoli in the vegan ramen was a highlight for me. I ordered the tsunami white pearl and it was delicious!

This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and it may also be my last. The location is lovely and the atmosphere is nice. However, I left feeling unsatisfied as my ramen bowl was very small with only two tiny slices of chicken. There are many options for ramen on the menu, and the drink selection is also good. The service was excellent, but I found the prices to be too high for the portion size. I also ordered two salmon tacos, which turned out to be very small, similar in size to a fortune cookie. If I were to return, I would likely just sit at the bar and enjoy some drinks. Thank you.
