Kyoto Matcha - North Bethesda

Had their vanilla soft serve, which was realllyyy good!! It’s very creamy and rich in taste!!

I normally don't visit this location just happened to be in the area. Someone with me wanted ice cream. They served flavors of Milk, Matcha or Mixed (both). The other person with me got Milk (think vanilla) and they ate it quick.I opted for mixed (Milk and Matcha in a swirl) and wanted two toppings: Sprinkles and Oreo Crumbs. Wanted it on a cone but was informed that since I was getting toppings, I could only get it in a cup. No worries. I enjoyed it.Giving them 3.5 stars.Reason for the 1/2 star deduction is that days later, I realized I did not get one of my toppings (saw other pics). I'm thinking maybe it was an off day for the person working maybe they need to smile.

Kyoto Matcha has truly mastered the art of layering with their Passionfruit Crepe Layer Cake. The vibrant taste of passionfruit was present but beautifully balanced, ensuring it didn't overshadow the delicate flavors of the cake. The texture was impeccable, making every bite a delight. Additionally, the ambiance of the food hall is nothing short of spectacular, providing an IG-worthy backdrop for your culinary delights. Service was straightforward, adding to the seamless experience. I'm eager to return and explore more of what they have to offer. Highly recommended for dessert enthusiasts!

They have so many unique fun treats. Not too sweet, and very yummy!!

Cute little matcha place in an indoor food court. The matcha swirl soft serve was delicious, and we easily split it between 3 people. You order on a large screen and it came out super fast.
