I think this place is a 5 of 5 hostel in cairns. Awesome kitchen, bar, pool, commonareas. The atmosphere is relaxing. Exactly what i wanted. Had so much fun here. Daily events to join if you want, really good wifi and helpful staff. The place to stay at i cairns!

Awesome place, great free breakfast and fast Wifi that is available in all rooms! Big kitchen and freezer! Super nice Commen Area with nice Bar! Great staff and the rooms have conveniently placed outlets at the bed! Great located

Ideal location, adjacent to the only nice park in cairns and very central. Free breakfast, wifi is as good as I have back home and has a pool to enjoy. When I'm next back in town this is where you'll find me.

Absolutely loved staying here, the staff was very welcoming and accommodating. There are renovations going on but I was able to have a brand new room all to myself! Bathrooms, rooms and kitchen are very well kept as well! Not to mention they have an amazing complimentary breakfast and great wifi! Would definitely stay here again! :

I had a such a wonderful stay at Mad Monkey! The staff members were super friendly and helpful and the daily free hot breakfast was great! The free wifi was super fast and there were always fun events going on at the hostel. the I'd highly recommend Mad Monkey to any budget backpackers traveling to Cairns. P.S Jess was super awesome with giving me a warm welcome to the hostel
