Blackberry River Baking Co

We were looking for a new breakfast place, but I have to say that the Macarons (especially the lemon peel) were what convinced me yesterday was the day to try Blackberry River Baking Company. Breakfast was amazing; I had the red flannel hash breakfast and my husband had the breakfast Burrito. Our server was nice and helpful and the food was fresh and delicious. We took some Macarons home (the best I ever had! Texture was perrrfect, and the flavors were from this world) and a light and fluffy raspberry almond pastries. We will be back

Last weekend for the first time I went through Canaan and picked up some breakfast sandwiches and a few pastries to try. Everything was delicious! Sandwiches #8 and #10 were our favorites. Yummy bacon jam just set #10 up! You can taste the quality of the ingredients in everything. Our favorite pastry was the raspberry cream cheese bear claw. Amazing fresh raspberry taste! Can't wait to come back and try some of the other breakfast and lunch deals!

Local, consistently creative and delicious menu options. Amazing baked goods. The dining area is beautifully decorated with vintage bakery, complemented by an attentive waiter. Very recommended for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

Great sourdough bread. Excellent pies in the fall. Homemade English muffins a rare treat. Corned beef hash also top quality. Always a top notch breakfast at this homey spot.

Home cooked food! Fresh! Wonderful service! This is the best place to go for breakfast in town! Nothing is out of a box or bag. You can taste the natural, freshness of the food. The fresh made jams and jellies, breads...it is all wonderful!
