Laceby Chinese Take Away

I only got takeout and was not impressed with the food. It was very bland and overpriced. I would not go back to that restaurant again.

Feel a bit sad leaving this review as a very nice man delivered the order within half an hour and the food was hot. Very large portion of chips and nice chicken, prawns and curry. However the beef and pork in my house special curry was extremely tough and i fear i shall be digging it out of my teeth all night. Whoever is cooking this meat needs to marinade or cook it much more as this is what ruined what could have been a lovely meal.

We enjoyed our takeout from here. Very good portions everything had taste to it very reasonably priced!!

Avoid this Take Away I’m currently reporting this appalling food to the Local Authorities. How are these people getting away with serving up disgusting dishes like this ? The Laceby Chinese Take Away is situated in a good Area…..I cannot believe that locals actually eat this food ? I drove all the way from New Waltham to order and take the food back home to my family as my regular Chinese Take Away was closed. What a disappointment for all…..All our favourite dishes which are very delicious from Hy’s Palace or New Diamond had to be binned…..I have never tasted sweet n sour sauce like it……it was like poison and the pork tasted off ! The Vegetable Chowmein was dry and veg tasted old and soggy…..noodles were like pasta ! Spare Ribs were white bone looked awful my grandsons favourite they were spat out and binned ! Isn’t it a shame when your so hungry and so looking forward to your food that the Chinese are expecting you to eat this trash/garbage as that is how the food looked and tasted….,,,the serving up of food like this should not be allowed……I am so upset……that is why I’m taking it further……I mean who cooked this !!??? I think this Chinese take aways got away with so much because people don’t complain ? I was very dubious before I went in and did ask two young men what the food was like ? I should have listened to them and drove back home…….I also ordered quarter duck with pancakes which is normally served with pancakes and spring onion instead they gave me spring rolls with duck in side which were extremely soggy and absolutely Appalling. I am so angry….I just feel like they are just taking the Michael and don’t care about there customers just the easy money they are getting.

One of the best chinese takeaways i have ever had!! Stayed at Laceby manor resort and found this chinese in the booklet they gave us so wanted to try it out. My boyfriend and i thought it was lovely and great value for money. We just had the “basics” but was delicious and plenty more for a second round; Would recommended and will 100% be back for a chinese’s here again at our next stay in laceby.
