Visited Al Sultan two days in a row for birthday lunch and late night shisha !! Had the best time of my life. Really admired the gesture when the entire staff came along singing and wishing me birthday . One of the best authentic middle eastern restro and shisha place in Dunedin. Very vibrant environment for hanging out and really good ambience with a very loving and kind staff which makes it even better : A must go place for everyone. Highly recommended to try guys !!

It's rare to find true middle Eastern food here in Dunedin. You may talk about kebab houses but it is all mostly Turkish. There are vegan and vegetarian friendly options here. The food is pretty good especially the hummus (it's pretty authentic). The portion size is pretty big as well The reason why I rated a 4 star was because they have added heaps of garlic and it was overpowering

Very good friendly service,food is tasty and delicious. If you are visiting Dunedin must give this place a try.
