This is a true southern country diner where the waitresses know the regulars orders as they walk through the door and all the food is made from scratch. The prices are really low for the quality and portion sizes of the plates. My first choice for a good meal.
While the restaurant was busy, it was disappointing to see that they allowed a group of at least 6 people to stand around our table in the front of the restaurant. One woman even rested her arm on my chair. Once they were finally shuffled outside, they continued to stare at us while we tried to eat. The chicken tenders were overcooked, the broccoli soup had a whole stalk taking up most of the cup, and the fries were clearly old. The waitress seemed indifferent to our dissatisfaction. After spending $40 (including $8 for 2 cokes), we decided to just get a to-go box and leave. It's safe to say we won't be returning to this restaurant.
Pride in food service shows. Most of the menu is made in house the seafood is local.Portions are huge.Grouper salads pork tenderloin were excellent!Sweet Plain Iced Tea available. It was good a nice southern touch—the waitress offered a cup of tea to go at the end of the meal!Reminiscent of your favorite diner.
Had a 10 minute wait due to being Friday but wow it was worth the wait. Greeted by the staff as if we were old friends. Very polite taking our order. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. My wife and I found our new to go to place. Thankyou for a great meal and night
