California Pizza Kitchen

We came with a party of 8 and they said they were short staffed and the wait would be 30 minutes. Even despite being short staffed, the people who did serve us were great. Our server was very friendly and polite, making it all a good time. The food is overpriced, especially as their portions are small and they skimp out on the good ingredients like meat or seafood (the items that drive the price up). The quality is mid and unassuming. Personally, I ordered the West Coast Burger and it’s insanely tall. I’m not sure the right way to eat it. It did taste good though. The potatoes on the side were strange and not very crispy.

Ricky was a great host! Poor guy was running to so many different tables and did a wonderful job serving us! Food was decent, although my Sicilian pizza did have a seed in it that was not edible and would have been bad if I bit down too hard. Manager was gracious and kind as well! Would come back again!

I was disappointed with the service we received. It wasn't terribly bad, but it wasn't great. Normally, we end up asking for bread. This time, we received it without asking, which is great. However, we had to ask twice for eating utensils and napkins. The two things you receive when you are seated. It just wasn't great.

CPK's lunch menu is AMAZING. For about $13 you can get an 8 pizza and pasta or salad. The kids menu is great too! Ranges from $6-$8. Not pictured is the kid's sundae which was only $1.75 and came with sprinkles, chocolate chips, and whipped cream.

This location is great and doesn't get to crowded and the food is always good.
