Great food but service was not the best. On two waitress on duty. Very slow.
Really fun environment for a family outing. Unfortunately, the service was really poor. The waiter had to be asked for things at least twice before you got it (water, fork, refills, etc. No hurry to go back.
Second time going to Crackin' Crab and the food is still awesome! The waitstaff has changed though and our waitress returned to our table several times to ask and re-ask what we ordered. We got everything we ordered, but she just kept checking to make sure she got it right. Repeatedly. The music is very loud and clubby, although it is not a clubby place. Other than those minor things, the food and time there was great! If they can change the music or turn it down, it would be so much better there.
It was fun. Eat with your hands, lick your fingers good. Since it was our first visit we tried a little bit of so. A few tried the clam chowder (good), and we followed with fried calamari, popcorn crawfish sweet potato fries( waiter suggested getting the popcorn crawfish basket since it came with sweet potato fries and was cheaper than ordering separately). All was yummy, and not greasy even the bottom of the basket was dry. We ordered one of the combos as well to taste the boil, and I loved it all. We had the crab, lobster and crawfish and it came with Louisiana style sausage, potatoes and corn as well. Seasoning was good and all cooked well. If messy hands nother you they will supply you with gloves not us, we dug in then used the community sink by the bar to clean up afterwards. It was a busy night (Friday), yet service was good and noise level fine. We will definitely eat there again , and now I have 'favorites ' to pick from.
