Four Leaf Clover - North Hertfordshire

We thought here was a quick coffee and ended up with a snack. eating (a panini and a hot baguette) was very good and at a very good price. the coffee was also good. the service was good and they are well organized for covid with clear screens between each of the tables and plentiful place.

Frequent flyer to the FLC but first review. This is a nice cafe just off market square. It’s a must do whenever I’m in town with the kids. The children’s meals are a decent price, the adult breakfasts and omelettes are pretty good and the...jacket spuds always nice. Jewel in the Crown is the milkshakes which both kids and adults love, great variety and mixed with the favourite chocolate bars. Staff are always really friendly and helpful. Knock a star off as the coffee and the breakfast sausages could be a little better but it’s a small issue. It’s a really nice, very clean family run cafe and me and the boys always enjoy coming here

Asking for an Americano with hot milk separately, we got it with pots of cream and the coffee was just warm; asked for another Americano with hot milk, we got it with milk mixed in like a Cappucino. A third asking, we got what...we ordered. Meals we ordered were quite nice. On asking for the bill we were told ok. After mins of waiting I asked again. Told It's coming After another minutes my hubby went to the counter to ask again. He was then told you pay AT the counter!! Why didn't they tell us this? On being given the receipt after paying, nothing was itemised at all, everything had a code number which was the same! I rated this with stars because the food was ok, but we won't go again.

We went there today for dinner, worse food ever eaten out, my steak dry and tough, reheated chips, tinned peas, lettuce with sloppy grilled tomatoes on top.!!! My partner had cottage pie with roasties (very odd combination), veg, totally swimming in gravy. He said it...was edible.Also very slow service to boot.!! Never going back, and definitely would never reccomend. So disappointed..!!

We went twice the staff and food are amazing, the portions are huge ..it's a must It's probably the best part of our stay in hitchin Try the chilli con carne and quarter pounder with fries
