Fantastic place! Great food and very friendly and attentive staff! Would highly recommend and I'm sure I will be back soon!

Attended a friend's bottomless brunch for a hen party, service and food were great. Venue lovely, clean and well looked after. Dogs are allowed in the pub but there is a section for those who prefer no dogs so is an all round winner.

Spontaneous decision to go out for a post Christmas meal and so glad we chose The Rose and Crown. The steak was cooked exactly as I’d asked, chips we scrumptious and blue cheese sauce homemade. Staff were attentive and helpful, we will be back….For Sunday lunch. What a gem of a pub.

Unfortunately our first visit to the rose and crown since Sam and Sian took over, it won’t be the last though. We booked as a last minute thing on a Friday evening. The pub was bustling and lively with plenty of regulars in the bar area. We went through to the restaurant to eat (me, wife and 11 year old son) Wife and son had the sirloin steak and I had the buttermilk chicken burger. The food took a reassuring time to come out (not so quick like some chain pubs where you know it’s basically been microwaved) the food when it arrived was delicious. The staff were pleasant, attentive and not overbearing like some can be. We will be back, in fact we have booked for Sunday lunch so won’t be long.
