Contribuisci feedbackFriendly staff. Essentially a bakery with large cafe area. Food expensive for the quality greasy spoon style. My scrambled egg and salmon came on sourdough bread which was very thinly sliced and soaked in butter/ margarine. English breakfast came with huge doorstep ‘toast’. But staff friendly, helpful nice atmosphere in cafe
I order a large Vanilla Latte every time and when it comes to the free coffee offer after ordering six of them I have to separately pay for the vanilla shot. Considering what Simmons charge for coffee and food this policy is a bit ridiculous and makes me consider going elsewhere.
We just nipped to get the little ones a quick lunch, the queue was messy and unclear and the staff were rude and unhelpful when asked about it, so much so that I left angry. The pastries were all pastry and little filling, should have just gone to Gregg's.
I can't speak highly enough of Simmons in Letchworth. Food and drink range is excellent. Staff are an absolute credit. Friendly, helpful and efficient. This makes for a delightful customer experience.
Bought a 3 cheese slice today for my tea. I actually got what looked like a steak slice, here's the thing. It had NO steak, it had probably less than 10% of some layer of brown. No meat at all, 90% was the most crumbliest pastry I've ever seen. You can't sell that, you ve been bakers since 1838, I not going to be the first or last to write a review like this but come on seriously bakers since 1838, sending people home to put that on your plate. Might as well go Aldi.
