Perfect little pub. Quiet. Good music in the back ground. Good food, fast service. Lovely greeting from gent at the bar, very friendly, definitely recommend a visit. We ordered chicken burger and fries. The chicken was real chicken breast slices and seasoned well.. very surprising as we expected reformed breaded chicken burger . Food perfection. Parking: Ample parking. Large parking spaces. Well lit. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot
The service at this restaurant was excellent, with attentive staff who were quick to take our orders and always checked in on us throughout the meal. The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy, with dim lighting and soft music playing in the background. Overall, a great dining experience!
A lovely Sunday lunch. Just there in time after our visit to Hitchin Lavender fields. Don't get out much these days because just like everyone else we've had to tighten our belts so this was a friendly, welcoming place for a spot of lunch. Highly recommend the roast beef. Parking: After driving in and finding no space was a little awkward backing back out. Found a place in a nearby street. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Roast Beef Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Free street parking
Had a really nice lunch of sausages mash and the day's special of chicken thighs with parmentier potatoes. Everything was delicious. It may cost a couple of pounds more than your average pub but the generous portions and quality of the ingredients were well worth it. And everything was topped off by a friendly barman. Will definitely be back again. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
