When I left today, I ordered the Huevos rancheros to go with Steak, and when I came home, it was the worst thing I ever had, instead of Ranchero Sauce they gave me black beans. It looks like it's just a spoon, the thinnest steak I've ever seen and the small part. It looks like the place has changed property. to run it on the ground air. I don't recommend it.
The food in Mi Rancherito Veracruz was very tasty and the staff were friendly and attentive! We had curtains that were cooked for perfection. Carne Asada Nachos and a birria taco! Absolutely come back!
The flavors of their house Salsas are delicious and unique. The mole I can probably eat alone is tasteful. Chile relleno severed hot. The egg light and fluffy the red sauce on top was delectable, but look for yourself.
The first time. Many very delicious items. Starting with the chips and guacamole. The Guac and the Salsa Verde were really good. We tried the a la cart fish and shrimp tacos. Also good, the fish was really fresh! Not sure I liked the Chipotle sauce, but still enjoyed the tacos. The chicken enchiladas with Salsa Verde was great! My wife had the Chile Relleno. It was just okay because the cheese wasn't melted inside and it seemed a bit fat. After all, the flan was good, but not great. There is a lot to like here. This would have been a five star evaluation if the consistency was somewhat better.
?? (via Eat the World Los Angeles) A neon sign in the window shows four varieties of tamales available, and the real reason for this visit and yours. A whole history and description of Veracruz style tamales is written out on the wall next to the menu and counter, telling what makes these different. First and foremost, you will notice that they are larger than average and wrapped up in banana leaves rather than corn husks. Their contents are somewhat more intermingling with the masa rather than inside of it, so this helps keep everything inside as the banana leaves are a more protective barrier.
