Nice food, better than most pub grub we've experienced recently. Good service and pleasant staff. Definitely visit again.

Stopped here for a bit of lunch and a break from our journey with a baby, this seemed like the perfect option as it had soft play for our 10 month old to play in. Greeted by Kelsey, she was very attentive and great with our baby. Kelsey was cleaning and interacting with us throughout our entire time here. About halfway through though we witnessed a very unpleasant interaction with who I assumed was her manager. Mid way us eating he came into the the room, handed Kelsey a piece of paper and was very passive aggressive with her stating that she had a bad review and ‘you are always just sat on your ass doing nothing on your phone’. This wasn’t what we had experienced with Kelsey and found this extremely unprofessional! We felt incredibly awkward, it felt as if he wanted to embarrass her infront of customers. Bad management skills, if you have a problem with a member or staff, take the usual route and arrange a meeting to discuss it! Would have been a 5* if this interaction hadn’t happened as we had a great time otherwise.

Went out for lunch with friends and had to wait 45 minutes for our food. The condition of the bathrooms was very unsatisfactory, with a door that wouldn't lock, a toilet paper dispenser that was blocked, and a loose toilet seat.

We went for lunch and ordered the gluten-free bacon cheeseburger and burger sizzler combo. Both dishes were delicious and tasted fresh. The service was outstanding, with the manager personally taking our order at the register and offering helpful suggestions for gluten-free side options. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I ordered the 3 x 5oz gammon steak with corn on the cob and fries at this restaurant. I am aware that this is a budget-friendly place to eat, but while on a work trip and stuck at a service station hotel, our choices were limited. The food arrived quickly, but I wish it hadn't. The gammon steaks were raw, especially the third one which was completely uncooked in the middle. I took it back to the bar and the staff kindly replaced it with a freshly cooked meal. The management offered me a complimentary coffee or soft drink as an apology. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant.
