The Attic - North Kilworth

Incredible dining experience! I enjoyed dinner at this restaurant, and I would highly recommend it. The meal was in the price range of £40-50 per person. Both the food and service were exceptional, earning a top rating of 5. The atmosphere was equally delightful, also receiving a score of 5.

The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, and overall, the food was quite good, albeit a bit pretentious. I found my starter to be the highlight of the meal, which is unfortunate as it set an expectation. My main course, a beef dish, was cooked perfectly and very flavorful, but there was a notable lack of gravy—just a small drizzle that left the dish rather dry as the meal progressed, making it difficult to finish. To add to my disappointment, my dessert came in a dish that had not been properly rinsed, resulting in an unpleasant dishwasher smell that completely ruined the experience for me. These issues were minor details but could have easily been addressed with a bit more thought and care. With those adjustments, the meal could have been a much more enjoyable experience.

We ate in the golf clubhouse the actual restaurant is upstairs but wasn't open on the day of our visit. Nevertheless the food was excellent (out of the same kitchen) and the staff friendly. The weather wasn't great (wet and windy) but we have been there when the sun was shining and the views are good. Overall, good food in pleasant surroundings served by friendly staff. What's not to like? Parking: Ample parking when we visited but it was an awful day weather wise so there weren't many golfers out (it's part of a golf club).
