I am disappointed to see so many negative reviews on here. I have been a regular at this Costa and have always had a positive experience. I believe it depends on one's level of patience, which seems to be lacking these days. My disabled daughter and I are always treated with respect and kindness. The staff always bring our order over to us as I get my daughter settled, and they are always friendly. Though there have been times when I have had to wait longer than usual, I have noticed that there were new staff members who were learning and doing their best. I can only assume that those who get upset over minor inconveniences have never worked in the service industry, or if they have, where is their compassion? The food is always good, the coffee is perfect (the manager even remembers my chai latte order every time), and the restaurant is clean, cozy, and local to me. Overall, I cannot ask for much more.
I got the wrong order and the one I did receive was only half full. I contacted the restaurant immediately and the customer service explained that this was their normal delivery standard. I disagree with this policy. My colleagues and I have spent over £100 at this restaurant over the past month, but we will now be going to Starbucks instead. I won't be returning to this restaurant. This was the worst delivery and service experience I have ever had. I recommend avoiding this restaurant at all costs.
Worst Costa I’ve ever visited. It’s dirty, the service is awful and slow, slow, slow!! Nearly 30 minutes in a queue of 4 people with 3 behind the counter. It’s not the first time I’ve been here and the service was the same the time before.
I agree with the other comments about how slow the service is here. Always a long wait however because it is easy access for a wheelchair, i do visit this cafe often. Parking in the nearby town centre is free for a few hours and there is disabled parking bays
