The Village Tandoori

I went to this restaurant tonight and the woman who waited on me was very rude and seemed inexperienced, as she didn't know the menu and charged me twice. Thankfully, the food was delicious and the other server was very helpful. I will request to be served by him next time.

Fast efficient delivery. Very friendly delivery driver.Very friendly female on phone taking order. Food however was disgusting. Second time I tried it, gave them the benefit of doubt and ordered again.Big mistake. Will make toast next time we are hungry

Tried this for the first time for a takeaway. It calls itself the “New Village Tandoori” now. First impressions as I walked was not very impressive. Not a clean looking takeaway however worst of all was the girl working behind the counter eating as she served customers. Picking her teeth to get bits of food out of it and then making up pizzas with her hands. She then takes a can of coke from the counter, opens it, sticks a straw in and takes a big gulp and puts the open can of coke in with the food counter for later. She looks as if she needed a wash or at the very least wash her hands after eating and putting her fingers in her mouth.Shocking service. Won’t be back and would avoid. Food was ok as well but totally put off by the girl eating half the profits in front of me!!

Despite a delay in delivery on weekends, the food at this restaurant is fantastic. Any restaurant that can deliver in 15 minutes must not be very busy.

I received a cold kebab within 30 minutes, which was very bland. The lamb bhuna was disappointing and overpriced. This was probably the worst takeaway I have had in years. As a frequent customer, I can confidently say that I will not be ordering from this restaurant again.
