Contribuisci feedbackIt's funny, I used to work here with the previous owner. A few weeks ago, I stopped by to look for him and discovered he no longer owns the restaurant. While chatting with the new staff, I noticed their revamped menu and decided to order a sushi roll, even though I wasn't planning on having sushi that day. Unfortunately, I could tell there has been a significant decline in quality. I ordered a lasagna roll, which is pretty basic, but, as I mentioned, I wasn't really in the mood for sushi. The imitation crab was subpar, and the roll itself was enormous—so much so that it barely fit in my mouth! Typically, sushi rolls aren’t that large, which isn't a good thing in this case. Additionally, the quality of the rice and sauces was lackluster. I ended up tossing half of the roll. I really hope they can improve these aspects because this place used to have a great reputation, and people genuinely enjoyed the food. While it may not have been the best sushi place, it was certainly better than my last experience. On the plus side, the service was excellent; the staff were friendly and the restaurant remained clean. I hope the food can return to its former quality, or even improve further! Maybe I’ll give it another shot when I’m in the area.
I had a nice experience at this restaurant a year ago, but today was disappointing. I ordered plain sushi, just fish and rice to start, but the lighting was so dim that I couldn't tell if the fish was discolored or if it just had a bit of soy sauce on it. Unfortunately, when I took my second bite, the flavor was off. I had to spit it out because the tip of the fish was tough and there was cartilage. I let the waiter know I would be leaving, and he asked if I was planning to pay after just one bite. I firmly said no and left immediately.
This place may not be extravagant, but I do appreciate how clean it is and how quickly the service is. I feel like royalty every time I dine here. The service is excellent, and I genuinely enjoy my meals. Their rolls are fantastic! I've tried many sushi spots in Vegas—some are subpar, but this one is definitely on the good side!
Very bad service, they tried to charge for a sake bottle we ordered but they gave us a flavored mango instead, it wasn't listed on the menu but they gave us the wrong one and insisted we paid even though that wasn't the bottle we wanted. The customer service is literally the worst. Didn't even eat we got so frustrated.
Do not be deceived by the 4 stars. I'm guessing this USED to be a good spot but it definitely isn't anymore. Increased AYCE prices, decreased quality of fish, gone skimp on certain dishes and even the gyoza sauce. When you come here, keep an eye on how much it looks like the owner is trying to cut corners. I had a plethora of nigiri and have only a two pieces of salmon that were actually fresh. I ate hamachi that tasted old. I should have spat it our retro spec but unfortunately, now I'm playing the waiting game to see if it will impact me. There are some serious health code issues in this restaurant, some of which is the temperature for the fish. The sushi chef leaves the slider wide open. I saw this at the very end of my visit. Steer clear, seriously, they don't know what they're doing and people can potentially get really sick. I ordered hot food after that. The service was not great. They were talking amongst themselves the entire time. I kind of feel like this is their first rodeo in the Japanese restaurant game. Don't expect an irashaimase when you arrive and a arigato gozaimasu when you leave.
