Pancheros Mexican Grill - North Liberty

I have been a fan of Pancheros for most of my adult life, but I have noticed a decline in quality at this location recently. The fresh pressed tortillas that I used to love now feel stale and crackly, and the ingredients don't taste as fresh as they used to. Despite this, I would still choose to eat here over Chipotle any day.

The food at this Pancheros is great! The service however not so much. The employees seem distracted lots of the time, talking to each other and not helping customers as fast as they should be. Atmosphere isn't as good as it used to be. Employees don’t really seem to care anymore, and where they prepare the food it isn’t as clean anymore. Also never order to-go from here, as it is never ready when you arrive and you have to wait extra time for it to get done. You are best off standing and waiting for your food. Expect to wait 15-20 mins during a busy time because of these things.

Placed an online order and went to pick it up. Sat there and waited for 30 min after the time it was supposed to be ready. 3 guys behind the counter looked stoned out of their minds and completely ignored everyone. I want my money back. Never did get my food. I will never go back to this store. Sad what it has become. Store is unclean. Disgusting. Flies everywhere. Food: 1

This restaurant is awful and lacks professionalism. The service is terrible, with staff members who don't know how to work together or communicate effectively. It took 30 minutes to receive a mediocre burrito. The staff need to be replaced, as this is the second time I have experienced this. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20.

I absolutely loved this restaurant! The food was fantastic, and the service and atmosphere were both top-notch. All around, a perfect experience with a rating of 5 for each category.
