Contribuisci feedbackI recently tried the Valentine's menu at this restaurant and was impressed. The ambiance is cozy and the food is beautifully cooked. A standout dish was the Raspberry amaretto frangipane tart. The staff were always polite, professional, and friendly. This is now my favorite place to eat and drink in Barton.
Excellent 3 course Sunday Lunch which was great value. Friendly helpful staff. Good choice for all 3 course. Roast lamb was delicious
I visited this restaurant for a meal. We arrived without a reservation and ordered drinks at the bar. When we asked for a menu, we were informed that they were not serving food to walk-in customers due to being too busy. It would have been appreciated if this was communicated to us when we first arrived, as we had already ordered drinks. The manager/owner was very disrespectful towards the waitstaff, who were overwhelmed with orders and had not had the opportunity to clear empty glasses from the bar. The owner's attitude was appalling; perhaps he should have assisted the staff instead of being rude. I do not plan on returning to this establishment.
We have been here several times and the food was amazing we came today for a friend’s birthday but I think they had new staff all very young they came to us several times as they were confused about drinks twice they had run out of our drinks we finally got them but the second drink for my friend 3 separate girls came and ask which tonic she wanted the food was average the beef was fatty and I had 2 tiny tough slices we had to ask twice for the veg which finally arrived and 10 mins later they came with a tiny dish of cauliflower cheese we had recommended it to our friends but felt let down sorry hope it was just a bad day with the staff
Visited for Sunday lunch with family, was going to order the beef roast dinner but the menu said it was served pink which I don't like , so opted for the lamb thinking it would be fully cooked. When it arrived it was pink, medium rare at best and very hard to cut, very tough like trying to cut leather. When we mentioned it to the waitress she said a few people had complained it was tough, they didn't have the usual chef and things were not going right with the lamb today. But they kept on serving it as we heard the table next to us ordering it a bit later. Offered no discount despite leaving all the meat on the meal. Very disappointing as have had a nice meal here before. Couldn't really understand why if they've had several complains why they kept serving it. Felt like there was a lot of young staff and nobody really taking control of the problem .
