Saddle Creek Woodfired Grill

My company had a dinner there last night, and we are not happy. The service was terrible and the food was cold. They knew ahead of time what we had ordered. The salads should have been served at 7:00 but were not served until 7:45. We had to wait a long time for our drinks, and some people never got water glasses. When the entrees were finally served around 8:30, the results were mixed. The salmon was good, vegetables were good but cold, sirloin steak was tough and cold. We were ready to pay and get out of there but the waitress still hadn't served the desserts. The beer and wine are way over-priced, plus they went ahead and added a 20% gratuity to them. A beer and two glasses of wine cost $32. Nope, never going there again.

First the good: -nice atmosphere -good service The bad: I had the Kansas City Strip. It was about a quarter gristle, not soft fat, GRISTLE which was inedible. The meat that was on the plate was tough and chewy. Good only for a jaw workout. This cut of meat didn't even resemble a strip steak, their butcher is not good. I was on a business dinner so I couldn't voice my displeasure but later in the evening all in my party commented on how mediocre the place was. One star, because zero is not an option. You will leave feeling like you wasted alot of money.

This is one of the worst servers I have ever had and took way too long. After being seated, it took 10 minutes to be greeted by our server. He was very cold and not personable at all. My wife ordered one of their speciality martinis and he didn't seem to even know what she was ordering. Pretty bad considering that we were seated in the bar area. All in all, m it took us an hour to get our entree. Considering I ordered a salad and my wife ordered an app, this was excessively terrible. The only time my waiter said thank you or provided any response at all was when he brought me the credit card slip to sign. Overall the food was good, but with all the choices around for dinner, I would rather go somewhere that seems to care about serving you with respect and in a timely manner.

Before we entered the restaurant, we were uncertain whether it was open due to the empty parking lot, which made us hesitant. However, the ambiance inside was beautiful, with a warm and romantic feel. I ordered the Cheyenne Chicken, and it was truly delightful! The potatoes accompanied it well, but the ribs were overwhelmed by an excessive amount of sauce that wasn’t very appealing. Additionally, the corn on the cob was overcooked and too soft. Overall, I found the meal to be overpriced considering the quality. It seems they could improve the flavors across their dishes. Would I return? No. The only standout feature was the lovely atmosphere.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was excellent. I really enjoyed the Ahi appetizer during happy hour; it was delicious. The Prime Rib was incredibly juicy and packed with flavor, and the grilled corn was among the best I've tasted at a restaurant. I highly recommend this place. Considering the price of the Prime Rib, it's a great choice any night of the week.
