Waldo's Chicken And Beer North Little Rock

Brand new location and it's very good. I got the 1/4 butter milk fried chicken with collard greens and white beans. Outstanding taste. Portion size for the combo chicken meal is small for the price of $10.99. I personally believe one extra drummy would make the price point perfect or a larger 1/4 chicken instead of the parakeet bird ???? they use lol. Great service and tastes delicious.

Let's start with the positives. I got my meal within 5 minutes of sitting down, and they were super busy. Now the negatives. I got the 1/4 chicken dark plate with fries and mac-n-cheese. Supposed to come with a biscuit and didn't receive one. The mac was ok but a bit bland. The shoestring fries were over cooked and some were so hard I couldn't even jab them with a fork. The chicken wasn't too good, given the lack of seasoning and the taste of being fried in old grease. Theydidn't even have lids for the 16 ounce cups. No further visits necessary.

It felt like organized chaos because I guess we went as a busy time. You order from a counter and then they call your name or look for your number on the table but a lot of people don't put the number up. So you have staph wandering around yelling out names. An easy solution if they were organized a different way but the food was delicious. We had the o.g. chicken sandwich which was well done crispy chicken with a great flavor. I had the french fries and Leslie had the potatowedges. The french fries are string cut and delicious. I don't know what they put on it besides salt maybe a little garlic and onion powder but they were awesome. The menu is expansive enough that we have to go back for wings and beer theyalso have adult slushies that we need to try and a Waldo Rita on tap. So it's a couple of trips just to make sure it is as good as we think it is
