Down to Earth Coffee & Tea House

I still had a bit of time before I had to be at work, and since I had passed a couple of other cafes around the area I decided I would go and check out

This is a fantastic coffee spot. The short macchiato I ordered was perfectly made. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is peaceful. I am quite particular about my short macchiatos, and Down to Earth Coffee and Tea House is definitely one of the best coffee shops in Melbourne.

The restaurant serves delicious food, coffee, and milkshakes. However, the men's restroom was dirty and had no lock. The staff were very friendly.

Great coffee. I go to Down to Earth often . It has the best coffee in ' the strip '. I can 't believe people complain about the service. It may not be super fast but it is friendly and you know the delicious food is cooked specially for you. It is relaxed and without loud music which is a real plus. The staff are charming and welcoming. Everything is fresh and pastries etc come hot from the oven.

I really enjoy visiting Down To Earth restaurant, as it has a great atmosphere and the food is always delicious. It's refreshing to have a non-trendy cafe option in Clifton Hill. The nut brownie is amazing, and the coffee is stronger and more consistent than other places I've tried. The staff are all friendly and provide excellent service with a smile. Be sure to try the soups as well – they are delicious and come in generous portions.
