Turf Club - North Melbourne

I'm sad to hear that The Turf Club is closing down. The building is being demolished to make room for student accommodation. It's a wonderful, relaxed, and welcoming place to gather with friends. I regularly dine there about once a week and enjoy their $5 happy hour wines. It's a great value for a good time.

I visited this restaurant for a late lunch on a Saturday and found a cozy atmosphere with dark brick and timber decor, couches, and classic pub food. They had a good selection of wines at affordable prices. The crowd consisted of workers, students, and backpackers.

This restaurant used to be known as Crimean, but has recently been taken over by new owners and transformed into the new restaurant and bar, Bobby Peels.
