Contribuisci feedbackI had a great experience at El Tayta, a Peruvian restaurant in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. I was looking for something different, and this place did not disappoint. The portion sizes were generous, and I highly recommend trying the Papa a la Huancaina appetizer if you're in the mood for something unique.
I have to admit, I was a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews, but my concerns were completely unfounded. The food was fantastic! The seafood was incredibly fresh, and we really enjoyed the unique flavors of Peruvian cuisine. The grilled seafood and the tri-mix ceviche were absolutely amazing. I've included some pictures below.
This is our favorite Peruvian restaurant! We visit every time we're in the Miami area and always order the trio ceviche, which is the best. We also tried a couple of new dishes, and they were incredible. Our server, John, was very friendly and offered great recommendations. We'll definitely be back!
I ordered a Parihuela. The soup was more a tomato soup than fish soup. Fish was overcook and calamari undercooked. They use cheap plastic cups that give the mood of a second class cafeteria. The place was super hot and the door was open on a 95 degreesweather. Definitively not a repeat. Better peruvian options in the area.
Cuisine is very good. We liked soup parihuela and octopus.
