Midtown Bistro - North Myrtle Beach

Eating is amazing. we had several dishes and they were all 5 stars or better. I have to say I was a little sceptical at first, but left amazed with the taste and atmosphere of live piano in the background. I order a white chocolate cheesecake and tasted like a simple cheesecake. ask the waiter to be sure, but he said that the cook did not add much taste to take away from the cheesecake that made no sense at all and let me desert in my 10-dollar. I would definitely go back. until then.

My man has been with someone who recommended midtown bistro. we drove from surfside beach and it was worth it. the restaurant is very beautiful. the tables were not crowded together. our son is in the wheelchair and we felt very comfortable. the piano player was a plus! appetizers were very good. we shared the smoked white fish that was delicious and the mashed martini that was different and very good. the dinner came either with suppe or salat and we all chose the sausage and banana puff soup. it was very different and very tasty. Advance share sizes were very good. the dinner included a grouper special, calf meat, tortellini with grilled chicken and the lowlandsaute. everything was well cooked and all sauces tasted very fresh. the table shared a NY cheesecake and a tiramisu. it was a very good dinner. the only complaining was the old fashion cocktail was not properly prepared. we will definitely make the trip to n myrtle beach

We have been coming to myrtle beach for years and do not know how we missed this place! came this year after the search for new places to try and everything I can say is omg! that was amazing! from the mozzarella appetizer (best we ever had) to the sausage and bananenpfeffersuppe to our entrees that the low-land juice, seafood newburg, tortellini and fetters-Alfredo, everything was delicious! our server tina was an absolute joy and made the culinary experience so much better! we recommend and will return absolutely when we are in mb again in autumn! top notch!

This place is great, always good eating. we had seafood pomodoro and lowcountry sauté, both were great. the maultier was perfect.

Unexpectedly Disappointed …. We have been dining here during our beach visits for years. This restaurant is our favorite and always booked for our first night out. BUT that’s the only reason we gave it three stars, otherwise it would have been two. (Excellent service gets you two stars automatically). I had scallops with shrimp on risotto which was just plain boring. My wife had white fish piccata on a bed of spinach that we should have sent back. Our server was amazing, thus two stars. With so many good restaurants in the area (Bennys), there is no reason to go here unless jazz piano background music is your thing.
