The Green Man Inn - North Norfolk

The campsite was decent for a quick stopover. It was quite noisy being so close to the road, but it would do for one night if you're in a pinch. The Green Man pub was very basic and not as nice as it appears in the pictures on Trip Advisor. Overall, not the most picturesque spot in Norfolk. I won't be coming back.

I had an amazing meal at The Green Man tonight. The steak kidney pie, mashed potatoes, and four types of vegetables were absolutely fantastic. The pie was incredible and the vegetables were cooked perfectly. I couldn't finish my entire meal, but I made sure to finish the pie! It's been two hours since dinner and I still feel full. My husband, who usually has a big appetite, couldn't finish his main course, but he managed to have dessert as well. I highly recommend The Green Man to anyone who enjoys authentic and delicious food!

We booked in on the campsite for the weekend and were a little apprehensive having read the latest review but had a really pleasant stay. Very clean, really friendly attentive polite staff. Food basic but tasty and good value. Can’t really fault it value for money wise. Would have no qualms about returning as well placed for visits to Holkham, Walsingham, Wells etc.

Recently visited the Green Man with some friends and the beer was absolutely appalling. I tried a pint of Woodfordes Wherry which tasted and smelt of vinegar. I then tried a pint of London Pride and that was dreadful too. I overheard a couple of what I assume were locals talking and one of them was saying that he only drank the lager now because the Real Ale had made him sick a couple of weeks ago. Wouldn't even fancy trying the food if they can't even keep beer properly. The restaurant was empty and the place had a really depressing feel to it. Would be very sad if this was my local.

Been to the green man quite a few times for drinks and food. Friendly staff and good service and prices. Can’t wait to return
