Fabulous Sunday dinner lovely warm welcoming pub, great service and the best roasted topside of beef I've had in a while. Excellent!

Excellent menu choices and first class quality food and service. Special dietary requirements gluten free and a no onions/garlic were well catered for with lots of choice and a chef prepared to make adjustments. The food was genuinely outstanding with wonderful sea food chowder to start and pork belly and steaks for mains; all perfectly cooked and flavoured. Too full for puds. I thought the meal was great value for money and just wish we had more gastro pubs like this near Oxford. Will definitely come again when in Norfolk next.

What a little gem this is then! Me and my wife booked on line a couple of month’s ago, to make sure we had some where that was recommended and had good Tripadvisor reviews whilst in the area for simmering to east during on Christmas Eve. Was very welcoming from the moment we entered, especially when not being a local. The menu looked great, spoilt for choice. The food was incredible- we take enjoyed it, as soon as the starter came , we knew we were in for a treat : Special mention for the table service again- they were obviously very busy, but they were still very friendly, attentive just a happy bunch. Thanks for having us and look forward to visiting again

WE went with our neighbours for a Christmas meal on Thursday evening. It's a while since we have been and delighted to say the food and service was as good as ever. A really lovely atmosphere thank you
