The Hornet's Nest - North Reading

The steak sub here is excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. It feels like a social hub for its regular customers. As I was leaving for the winter holidays, I was pleasantly surprised with a homemade holiday treat featuring chocolate for dessert.

Today, I had lunch at the Hornets Nest, and I am so glad I did! I ordered the steak and chicken combo kabob salad, and it was absolutely delicious! The steak was cooked to perfection—medium rare as I requested—and both the chicken and steak were so tender that I could cut them with just my fork. The salad was crisp, and the house dressing struck the perfect balance of sweetness and flavor, making this the best kabob salad I've ever had.

Anyone who grew up in NR would tell you it's the best spot around! I've been a loyal customer my entire life, and the steak and cheese remains my top choice!

Best pizza! Not finished trying every item on the menu yet but everything is awesome. Finally had the Gobbler...YUMMY!!! You have to get them while they last!
