Lobster Claw - North Reading

Just got done eating here with the family. Glad I found this little gem while visiting the area. Really fresh tasting seafood with large portions. Started off with some of the best tasting clam chowder. Ordered the “skipper” lobster roll thinking it’d be a smaller roll but that wasn’t the case at all. The combo platters were also large portions and tasty! The house-made tartar sauce and slaw are probably some of the best tartar/slaws I’ve tried, really complimented everything that was served. Got to meet the owner, super friendly individual who routinely checked in on everyone. Very family friendly and welcoming atmosphere! The owner was also telling us about their new Italian ice stand which was a hit as well! Kids and wife loved it! Glad I stopped by, definitely a local gem!

Today was my first time trying this spot they did not disappoint. The portions are HUGE! The seafood platter is easily enough to feed 3 people. If you’re a seafood lover I highly recommend this spot.

First time here. Chowder was not great, definitely not a traditional NE creamy chowder. $37 triple combo, skimpy, the clams, shrimp, scallops just okay. Haddock sandwich pretty good, roll was very good. Place was busy, lots of lobster rolls going out. Nothing knocked my socks off. Will be back to try a lobster roll and maybe a chicken sangy, but for the price of seafood, I will go back to my go to spots.

The best fish chowda ever. Place is clean food is delicious and staff is friendly.
