Have not been here before, frankly because the outside signage made the place look...like it might not be very clean inside. But, we were on our way home and needed pasta did not want to run all the way to Stop and Shop. What a pleasant surprise! It is a bit like a mini Whole Foods, but not as expensive. Very clean, decent choices, nice people working there. Whoever owns this place, fix up the outside to match the inside!
It is tough when you only have time to shop once a week and half of the items cannot be found there but worse is they advertise a sale and even with the signs there, they don't ring up properly. How many times this has happened and you don't catch it until MAYBE you look at your slip after you get home. What a joke. Trying to support a local store but they are declining monthly. Veggies look like they have been sitting for days. The sign said spinach 2/$6 but my slip said $4.99 each. Shopping elsewhere. Yes, there is a friendly staff but George's sons have let this place go so far downhill. Sad
Went to Brigidos IGA to pick up lettuce and veggies to make a salad for a party.
I have shopped here for close to 40 years. It is sad over the past 5 7 years, you cannot get some of the basic items they cut back on their items. But what I am so very tired of is there misrepresentation of items. I sent my husband today to pick up a few items. I looked at the weekly add online. I even showed my husband as he is not one to shop often. Buy potatoes bag and fresh spinach 2/$6.00. He couldn 't find a specific table that had these items together so he asked someone for help. She couldn 't find it heaven forbid she looks at the ad. He bought the potatoes then went and found the spinach which had a sign that stated 2 for $6. Well, we paid $4.99 for the potatoes and $4.99 for the spinach! I can buy Olivia 's bag of spinach anywhere for less but this was supposed to be on sale! I never minded paying a little more on items there they always had some things on sale and I want to support local, but since George died, this place is not the same. Forget fresh vegetables they look like they have been sitting out for days. Sad to see but the worse is getting racked over the coals for items that were suppose to be on sale What a joke. Shopping elsewhere as often as possible.
