Smooth service, extensive menu, great gluten free options, friendly staff and wonderful tasting. Couldn’t recommend enough! Couldn’t tell the difference between this and high standard food, if it weren’t for the fact it’s within the hotel and looks very basic. Only an additional £10 for myself and Mum to have 3 course meal with our hotel booking.
Staff polite, efficient, friendly and attentive. Ordered the Bristol burger and the Hunters Chicken Burger which came to us in good time and was well cooked and presented. The aioli has quite a kick to it, but all good. We were too full for dessert. Would happily eat here again.
Arrived at 9.00PM, Restaurant takes last orders at 10.00. One Waitress was reasonably Grumpy without being rude, the other was quite polite. Ordered a Chicken Wing starter which was probably too much for a single starter, really enjoyed it though. The Lamb main course was out moments after the starter was taken away, far to quick. It was also quite under cooked. As soon as I finished I was asked if I wanted the Bill, rather strange not to offer a dessert or Coffee!? I had a coffee at the Bar after being asked to leave the Restaurant as they were trying to lay the tables for Breakfast.
I was on way to Bristol Airport for a business trip and was early, so I stopped and popped into this place. The buffet style breakfast was very nice hot, well presented. Lots of choice, as you would expect for a Holiday Inn, and the Cost of £12.50 per Person. which included all food and as much Tea or Coffee as you wanted. Car Parking was free to Customers, which i good. The food was really tasty and freshly prepared. Usual traditional English Breakfast, Eggs, Bacon, Very nice sausages, Fresh Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Baked Beans, Hash Browns, along with toast, fresh yogurt, fruits, cold meats. The only criticism was the bacon was very fatty. Juts took extra, and cut off the fat. I thing it was well worth the money, and would defiantly go again. Would recommend
