Popped in for cod chips. Decided to eat in and was not impressed. The seating area had really bad fousty smell, tables uncleared, greasy floor covered in chips and an open top black in the middle of the floor. Being right on the seafront this should be be busy!! A good coat of cream paint to cover the dark brown and green, along with some pictures would help. The floor needs de-greasing and a good coat of varnish to help keep it cleaner. The fabric covers on the wooden seats are black and probably where most of the smell is originating from. Nice little gold mine if it was just brought up to a better standard. If you're eating here during the summer have your food as a take away.
Not a lot to say really, good food, fair prices. Always a queue, seating area gets bombed by seagulls constantly
If you visit Weston out of season there is ample parking at both ends of the town, however the parks can get completely full in peak times due to the resorts popularity. Weston has a marvelous wide promenade that runs along the seafront from one end of town to the other. If you have a mobility scooter or wheel chair it really is disabled friendly as you have ample room to drive along and view the huge beach and pier without running into a pedestrian every few feet. There are also a number of toilets, cafes, and other stalls actually on the beach. Also on a clear day you can see the welsh coast.
The Sea front is very neat and clean, easy access to the sand. The one thing I disliked about the sea front is nothing seemed to open until late in the morning and everything started closing early as well. No a place to go for the early birds and one would think that during the summer some of the beach front concessions could stat open a little later than 6pm.
