Unit 3 - North Somerset

We dine at this restaurant almost every Thursday evening because they serve the best Chinese curry in Weston. Our go-to dishes are the Kung Pao chicken and Singapore Chow Mein - they are absolutely delicious!

I recently ordered Chinese food for takeout and was impressed. The food was well prepared, with the prawn balls and prawn noodles standing out as particular highlights. The service was quick and the staff were friendly.

This was our first time trying the Taipanic Restaurant as an alternative to our usual Chinese takeout. The Taipan was much more expensive than a typical restaurant on Worle High Street. The special fried rice had square pieces of meat on top and the rice itself seemed overcooked. The chicken chow mein was disappointing, with soggy and tasteless noodles and bean sprouts. The sweet and acidic sauce was decent, but the chicken balls were mostly batter with a small unclear piece inside. The chips were okay for Chinese chips. Overall, it was a bad choice and we will not be returning.

We've been here for years, but it's slow on the hill. my last meal was boil so bad we drove it back, they looked at it and they apologised, as it was not right at all, the whole sauce had separated and. was in a half-inch floating oil. They made our order again, we got it home and it was just as bad! So we drove it back and got a refund! it ruined our nights and left us out of the bag because we go back and forth. we will never go back there.

Good food delivered promptly, slightly on the salty side but overall a very enjoyable meal. Menu choices are varied and reasonably priced.
