I enjoyed the tandoori chicken immensely and decided to order a half portion to continue savoring the taste. Although the chicken biryani wasn't to my liking, the tandoori chicken more than made up for it.
As for the food, we always enjoy the bread here. Our favorite curries are the Kodi kuda Chicken chukka, which can be considered their signature dishes. We have tried a few starters, but the chicken 65 has always been consistently good. Unfortunately, the Fish Apollo was not great the one time we ordered it as it was too salty. Now, onto the biryani – my husband has always enjoyed it and I do too. It may not be exactly like Hyderabadi paradise biryani, but it is flavorful and delicious. Overall, this is our go-to place when we are craving Andhra kodi kura and biryani!
Whenever I am feeling homesick for Hyderabad, I find myself returning to this restaurant - the best Indian food in Sydney. A must-try is the chicken 65, served with lemon - it is my absolute favorite dish. The staff is attentive, friendly, and enthusiastic. The prices are reasonable, especially for a new immigrant looking to dine out. The only downside is that the restaurant is not located near a train station, so be prepared for a bit of a walk. But it is all worth it for the delicious and flavorful food they serve.
All right, I am telling you, I am so excited about writing this one. You know in my previous posts, I have spoken about Biryani, the different styles and the best ones in Sydney I like. . Well, there is now a new entry into this list. Its the Paradise Biryani House at North Strathfield. . One of my very good friends from work and from Hyderabad, we regularly talk about Hyderabad, in Hyderabad lingo and recall all those wonderful days at Hyderabad. And any talks about Hyderabad is not complete till we talk about the food and the biryani. Well, had it been Hyderabad, it would have been Bawarchi and Paradise for our Biryani adventures. Being in Sydney, and talking about Biryani at Hyderabad every day and every week, really did make us nuts and drool and hallucinate about biryani.
This place offers absolutely mouthwatering biriyani when you are away from your hometown. We also had roti and chicken gravy. To my disappointment it had too little gravy and few chicken pieces in a small bowl. I didn’t enjoy as much as I did the biriyani. The ambience is not so welcoming and the service is definitely disheartening. May be a takeaway of biriyani from this place will give me a better experience.
