The owners and employees are unbelievable, always ensuring that we take care and so friendly. They really care about their guests and the quality of food... and it shows!
Update: the rush is huge on Fridays, and expect some waiting times to get space. But the food makes more than it does. Tried the chicken-Bryani that came with Rita and green Chutney- really delicious. Also the lamb was looking for Kebab, which was quite large. I wish they gave at least two kebabs in a record. The gaajar ka halwa was warm and the right level of sweetness, but there was a certain granularity to him that was different from what we usually eat. Total good place for family dinners. Servers are good, humble people. She really loved her goats Biryani, who was boiled Karachi style with bone marrow and a limited amount of spices. It is not the typical spicy North Indian Biryani style that most people expect to eat here in desi restaurants, and it was refreshing for me to try something else. Also really liked the Cumin Rita that came with. We also have the simple chicken curry that was beautiful. Just a few chicken pieces in a tomato, ginger garlic clove and a few spices. You also have some really beautiful kulfi flavors. The place is halal and they offer free chai. Service is really good.
Samosa chat 10/10 Chilli Chicken 10/10 Chicken Biryani 9/10 Cholay 2/10 Baturay sees puri 10/10 yesterday I was amazed karimi restaurant food tastes delicious during the pandemic I try Biryani I love it but other items not so much yesterday after a long time I try kirimi me and my family just love what we don't like Cholay pakwan and lahori Cholay taste good
It is not a beautiful place, but the food is authentic and ingenious. You will continue to come back when you long authentic Indian/Pakistani food. Best Hammel and Goat Courts in Bay Area. Trust me because I tried enough. If you appreciate the difference between Mutton(Gott) and Lamb and wish Mutton, this is the place to go.
5 stars for Goat Biryani most authentic and delicious biryani I have had. Oil quality used for cooking Biryani is not good afyer taste and smell is weird long after having Biryani, though blend of spices is great and apetizes very smoothly. 5 stars for achari chicken gravy, 3 stars for naan it was too thick, can be much better! Great food overall!
