LB's Restaurant, located in North Sydney, offers a stunning view of the Harbour Bridge. The food was generally good, although the pork cutlets were slightly overcooked. Despite this, the attentive staff noticed my struggle with cutting the meat and kindly provided me with a steak knife. Kudos to the staff for their excellent service!
The hotel is fantastic with stunning views and a beautiful lobby and restaurant. The dinner menu offers a wide variety of delicious options and the bar menu has a fantastic selection of wines. Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet is disappointing and not worth the price.
Not the cheapest but still very nice for dinner, our steak sandwiches were lovely, amazing views from some tables, waiting staff are lovely polite and on the ball, very well trained. Went for the breakfast buffet as well but wasn't as impressed, bacon was hard and hours old, certainly not worth the $30.. Staff still great though..
During a recent trip to Sydney, I stayed at The Harbourview Hotel and had the pleasure of enjoying breathtaking views of the harbour for Australia Day celebrations. However, my dining experience at the hotel's restaurant was a bit disappointing. We were kept waiting for half an hour past our booked time due to a function, with no apologies given. Once seated at a table with a water view, our entrees arrived quickly but there was another long wait for our mains, which were quite basic. My fish dish was lacking in presentation but cooked perfectly, sitting on a couple of asparagus stems and pasta pockets. My friend enjoyed his steak, which was also perfectly cooked. The highlight of the evening was the dessert tasting plate, with delicious ice creams, chocolate pudding, pavlova, and a refreshing lemon lime julep. Despite the mixed experience, the stunning view of the harbour redeemed the evening.
