Sssshhh .... this place is lovely!. Sssshhh .... don't want to say too much or this place will be fully booked every day! The service was impeccable, did enjoy humour with the maître d. Food was totally delish! Nothing truly beats their Southern Highland pork; had the garlic prawns this visit with hand made pasta with mushrooms, marscapone and truffle definitely no complaints and wow no room for dessert.Love the perfectly chilled Italian pinot grigio a fab lunch time wine!I must commend Cala Luna staff on the bathroom very clean and user friendly!
At the price, poor, that was in the average. the service was inadequate. in the grunde was the price and the experience was completely unmatched. bill for lunch was $80 per head. the mains were $40 each. it tries to be something of a fine restaurant and failed.
Classic dining room alarm! this is not a trendy city or crow nest restaurant! but we loved what we ate and will come back. had chorizo and proscuitto and rockmelone and wow it was good to return to these classics. the service is the same style of classic old waiter (sorry,) but it is all fits. the steak and lamb, where truly excellent as well as the desserts of the maus in a 1/2 circle. the wine list is a standout, as they expect in this style of restaurant, with some well appreciated ripe weep. aged riesling for $60, yes, please.
We, where really impressed by this restaurant in considering that I have worked in north sydney for the last 3 months and no one has mentioned it. very old dining room that works in this building. we were also in the spit restaurant and although its food is the same, the rooms are completely different. I take my partner here very romantic. a lot can be said for warm brot, good butter and warm professional hospitality.
